CCOD minimum requirements

NOTE: This page is outdated. We now have a different method for determining activity requirements: https://ntteamccod.wordpress.com/requirements/

Hello Everyone! I am requiring each person on CCOD to do a certain number of races each week. If you do not find yourself on this list, assume your required number of races is 140. Those who do not complete this number of races every week may be kicked off of the team. Faster and more accurate people do not need to do as many races. Officers may need to do more races.

  1. Hello GTSWPM67, that is fine. My goal is to have CCOD consistently in the top ten, and after a lot of calculations, I came up with a certain number of races everyone had to do to make that happen.

I would still like to keep you on the team because of your speed and accuracy, but I would still like to know how many races you are able to do per week. I can lower your requirement if need be. Thanks for being a long time member of team CCOD!

  2. This will be a bit hard, I don’t know if I can do this, I will try my best, but its a bit of a stretch. Maybe I can do 80 on a regular basis, but I don’t know.

  3. Hello UltimateZMan! I think that 80 races will work for now. I usually cut those who are at the bottom of the stack for the lowest number of races or recent activity if need be so that I can get better people on the team, and 80 races probably won’t be at the bottom of the stack for a while. If you ever are in a position where you can do 110, that would be great, but 80 races is good for now.

  4. Hello GTSWPM67, I have two officership positions open since Spud and space-station left. I usually give officership positions to those with the most team races or who are very active and/or fast. You are #11 in races, #13 in accuracy, and #5 in speed. That is good, but maybe not quite officer status yet.

    1. If you can get your activity up, then I might consider you for the position. If you really want an officership, I can make you an officer on CCOD 2 if you do at least 10 races a week.

    1. Ok. Well, try to race as much as possible. Since you only have 9 races this week, try to get in more races if you can. If everyone did 9 races/week, the team would have 49×9=441 races per week. We have over 3000, so 9 races per week is a bit low. If you can’t do any more than 10 races per week, just join CCD2 and I will make you an officer if you stay active.

      1. Even though I type fast, I can’t join because my average typing is 70-80 words per minute but mostly in the seventy.

      2. Sorry, I lowered the team requirements. The team used to be only for people with very high speeds. People on CCD2 are not expected to do as many races, but they should do at least a few races a month. Those who are officers, however, should do at least a few per week instead. Several old CCOD members are on there.

If you want to be an officer, I would like you to race at least every week. The team needs more active people.

    1. Ok. Yes, you can have up to 5 officers. Since you race every week, that sounds good. I think that you are good enough to be an officer on CCD2, but not CCOD at the moment. If you want to join CCD2, I will be fine with that. I will make you an officer there if you join. If you want to be an officer on CCOD, you need to get your activity or speed pretty high. Like about 20-25 races per day or 100+ WPM.

      1. Actually, I can’t type higher than 100 because I’m not used to type that fast. Also, I don’t have enough time do 20-25 races a day. Do they allow other requirements to be an officer?

  5. Hello GTSWPM67! For becoming a CCOD officer I am afraid not, but for CCD2 I only need you to race a few times a week or have a good speed. You have both. I think that you will work well as a CCD2 officer, but I don’t think that you are good enough to be a CCOD officer yet unless you knock in a bunch of races every week.

You can either be a normal racer on CCOD or an officer on CCD2. An officer can invite others to the team, post on the motd, and accept applications for the team. Since I don’t do a whole lot there because I am usually managing CCOD, I will let you be in charge of most of it if you want to switch teams.

  6. Ok. Just apply to CCD2. Make sure you race every week to stay an officer. I had to demote one of my old officers recently because he hadn’t raced for 2 weeks. You can keep in touch with me here to talk about the status of the team.

  7. I don’t see your application. Can you allow invites? I cannot invite you because you don’t have it turned on. Just go to the page and click join. I will accept you if I can.

    1. Oh, okay. I accidentally did that because I didn’t want other bad teams to invite me. I’ll try that again. If they still don’t accept me, can I join your team again because there are only 48 people and 3 officers.

  8. Hey tigerboy, the same thing is happening to me. Real life is catching up and i’m not up to the standards even my a little bit. I would like to be an officer in CCD2, I can do that much.

    Thanks

  9. @GTSWPM67 I didn’t receive your application. NT automatically cancels your application if you join another team. You need to be teamless to join. Wait a day or so, and I will try to find it.

  10. You mean CCOD right? Well, I am almost out of officerships right now and unless you are really active or get your speed above 100 or so I don’t think so at the moment. I may let you on as a normal racer though.

Our team is desperately trying to get in the top 10, and we are really close. I need my racers to get a lot of points. You, according to your stats, will probably get about 131 points per race. That is pretty good. But, I need a lot of races so those points will add up. How many races can you do per day till the end of the season? (February 28). One race takes about 40 seconds plus wait time.

    1. Oh, that’s alright, I’ll just be a regular team player. Just to tell you, your team is already in the top tens. Your team is 8 place.

      1. Just make sure you do the races tho, or I will have to put you on CCD2 for a while till you get your races in. Keep racing! If you do enough or get really fast, you may become an officer someday

  11. Tigerboy/ Slovakian Salamander, I was on vacation for two weeks and was unable to race. I will race a lot more now, and it would mean a lot if I was promoted back to officer, I only didn’t race because I couldn’t, but I can now. Thanks

    1. Ok. I didn’t know you were on vacation. I demote officers who don’t race for over a week.

I will make you an officer again. Just make sure that you continue racing, as we need everyone to help the team during season 2.

    1. Ok. I don’t want to lose my guys , especially because my team needs as many people as possible for Season 2. But, I will give you a few suggestions. Your team needs more people. You probably won’t get a whole lot of points with only 7 members. Invite teamless racers to your team. You probably race a lot of them. I can give you the names of a few old CCOD members if you want.

  12. Greetings Slovakian Salamander, I would like to join your team, CCOD. If you put me in CCD2, that’s fine with me. I plant to help you and other teammates to enter the top 3.

  13. Ok. Apply to CCD2. Here is the required races calculator: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/155696441/ . If you want to stay on the team, do this many races, minimum, every week. I should see this number or greater in your 7 day stats. If you get up to CCOD requirements, feel free to leave the team and apply to CCOD. Or, I might invite you on the motd. BTW, this page has an outdated requirement list for the team. To find the CCOD activity requirements, go here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/148364380/
    Thank you!

  17. Hey Slovakian,

I had just noticed season 3 had ended. Where did the Season money go? I didn’t receive anything. Can you tell me what happened to the rewards?

    Thanks, GoldenGammr8

    1. I haven’t gotten my money either. I think NT will give our money later. If they don’t give us our money by next season, maybe you should call Support. Also, don’t quit racing just because there is not season going! We can still get CCOD higher on the other scoreboards. The higher CCOD is, the more people want to join our team. Keep racing!

  18. By the way, I had just found out that season 4 is going to start in May 6th. Do the races count even though season 4 didn’t start?

    Like

  19. Any races you do will count towards the team’s position on the 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day leaderboards. Points earned in the interseason period can indirectly help us during the season, as more racers may join the team due to our position on the other scoreboards. Remember, if you are not able to get up to activity requirements, I will have to put you back on CCD2. Can you do 120 races per week?
