This is for the officers of Team CCOD.
On CCOD, we usually have a lot of applications coming in from teamless racers. However, it is important to know whether or not they will add enough points to our team and get us up on the scoreboard. Just because someone is fast does not mean that they will help the team if they are inactive or super inaccurate. Also, an active racer with a low speed may not be someone to put on the team because that racer’s races will have less points than a fast racer.
With the next season coming up, I want our team to be as competitive as possible. To be a top 5 team, we need to get at least 2,000 points per person per day, minimum. That is 14,000 points per week.
Every time you race you earn a certain number of points. The points you earn per race is calculated using this algorithm: (100+(wpm/2))*accuracy. A good indicator of how many points they will make per race on average can be found if you look at their 7-day stats and find out what their average wpm and average accuracy are.
So, to find out how many races they should be doing per week, plug this into your calculator and see what you get: 14,000/((100+(avg. wpm)/2)(avg. accuracy)). Make sure the accuracy is a decimal, like .95 for 95 percent accuracy.
You may accept or invite the racer if the number of races in his/her 7-day stats are higher than the number you got from the calculation above. If they are close, keep an eye on them. They may become more active in the future. If they are not, deny their application or move on to another racer.
